With all these new music biopic movies, people should revisit Walk Hard

One of the most overlooked movies of the late 2000s. It is honestly the same thing to music biopics as what Airplane is to disaster movies. One of the greatest parody movies of all time, and of all the times I've watched it, it has never staled on me.
John C Reilly is a pretty underrated actor as well while we're on the subject. He handled this lead role perfectly. A shame he was always given the sidekick role or cameos throughout his career because imo this movie showed he can handle lead roles and excel. But alas that's Hollywood.

The part lampooning the Beatles psychedelic stage in India is amazing and I still quote it, accent and all, much to the chagrin of my wife

You guys are almost as good as the Monkees. You guys are great.

You don’t want none of this shite.
It makes you feel great, it isn’t addictive and it makes sex amazing.

As he once so eloquently sang about his own career: "I was in both Talladega and Boogie Niiiiiiigghhhts!"
This guy really is a gem of an actor. His range is crazy.

Edith, I told you, I can't build you a candy house! It will fall apart, the sun will melt the candy, it won't work!

Might be my favorite 2000s comedy. Every single line in the movie is a joke and is hilarious.
Also it might be the GOAT original soundtrack. Beautiful Ride, walk Hard, and Guilty as charged are legitimately good songs who could’ve been actual hits if not a comedy bit

Those songs were great. “Let’s Duet”
Tonight I’m going to beat off......all my demons.

This scene never gets old though. ”Look out man!”
I have a small dog and a big dog. When the small dog has a treat, if the big dog comes near him, he’ll bark and snap at the big dog. Whenever he does this, I say “look out man!” In that voice.
