Weren’t they both writers for the show?
Writers and producers. I believe BJ Novak also directed a couple of episodes. I'm not sure if Mindy Kaling did or not.

I think we can all agree that Charles is one of the least liked characters on the show.
My favorite(s) would have to be Dwight, Michael, and Jim. Dwight and Michael just because they are absolute nut-jobs and hilarious. Jim for the way he played the role. His interaction with the cameras was always top notch, and he played that role better than anyone on that show.
Honorable mention goes to Karen. Because she was hot as hell in that show, and played the role pretty well.
Characters I strongly disliked; Ryan, Jim's dorky boss in Stamford, Charles, Roy, Moe's (never got the point of him), every "replacement boss" after Michael left including that old hag from Sabre, and the Senator.

My ranking with my favorite on top.
Dwight Schrute
Todd Packer
Jim
Darrell
Michael
Pam
Todd Packer
Stanley
Meredith
Oscar
Creed
Karen
Kevin
Kelly
Andy
Erin
Phyllis
Ryan
Angela
Ryan and Angela are snitch bitches, I wouldn't frick with them. Ryan would sell a mother fricker out in a heart beat.
Phyllis is boring and likes to gossip.
Erin is just a dumbass. While her character is funny, I wouldn't want her on my team.
Andy is just a waste of space whose parents don't even like. He sucks at singing and he tries too hard.

His character works (Dwight) bc the actor is great for the part. Steve is great as Michael Scott but a character like that isn’t deep enough to go on more than 3-4 seasons max with the best actor. The Jim & Pam (say what you want) was played out and went too far. It was better when she clung to Roy and would have been a better story had Jim moved on as the seasons wound to a conclusion.
Your opinion is trash

His character moved from goofy, but lovable in the first five years to completely incompetent and pathetic in Seasons 6 and 7.
Did we watch the same show? As the seasons went on Michael started to mature and became less moronic.

Seriously. "Diversity Day" is the second episode of the entire series.

Gabe, but I'm a fan of his. I like all his work.
fricking hate Packer tho. Dude is not funny in anything. Please explain how he has a career in comedy.

I don't get why people like Toby. There were moments I felt sorry for him, but his character wasn't very likeable. Unless you just have a soft spot for people like him. He wasn't funny at all.
I don't dislike him, but he isn't what kept me watching.

Banging Pam's mom and then breaking up with her when he found out she was 58?
How about all of the pouting and sulking when Phyllis was Santa Claus?
Telling all of his ex-lovers he had herpes when he had an ingrown hair?
Making multiple flight reservations to visit Jo in Tallahassee?
I think he definitely got dumber as the series went on.
