Hayden Fry? He was coach at Iowa at the same time this show was on.

I remember when Minnesota State played Alabama and I thought that was the coolest thing as a kid. This was the year after Stallings title in '92.

Man, I loved that show as a kid even though I didn’t care about college football and only marginally cared about football at all (played but wasn’t fixated on it). Just great overall writing I guess.
