I still remember the theme song, but I can't really call out any specific episodes. It seemed to have some good looking ladies with some nice assets in most episodes.

I remember it well. Funny show.

The theme song was recorded by The Cowsils.

Yes. Some pretty big stars made their way on the show; Burt Reynolds, Harrison Ford to name a couple.

I found all of the episodes on youtube not too long ago.

It's definitely one of those shows from the 70s that brings the nostalgia, if you grew up in that decade.

Is Paul Lynde trying to act straight part of the comedy?

Isn't that what Happy Days spun off from?

That's Carol Wayne (of Tonight Show fame), with Paul Lynde, who was married to Bert Sugarman (The Midnight Special) in the 1970s.

Tragic story, she was likely the victim of murder (in hindsight) because of David Durston's connection with her "accidental" death and the "suicide" of Art Linkletter's daughter.

I remember LAS - it was a low rent Love Boat or Fantasy Island (and by "low rent", I mean cheap sets, studio shots, compared to the slightly more exotic Love Boat or Fantasy island - not the star power which was comparable for all 3 shows).

He was never officially out of the closet, IIRC. Plus, actors act. Heath and Jake were straight - like it or not, they were acting in Brokeback, baw.

I've tried researching both of these cases but there doesn't seem to be a lot out there. Pretty odd how he was connected to both deaths.

The Cowsills sang the theme in Season 1. The Ron Hicklin Singers sang it from Season 2 onward. The Ron Hicklin Singers were also the group that sang for the Partridge Family (sans David and Shirley's parts as the show progressed)... which itself was inspired by The Cowsills.

I really like their sound...especially on Suicide Is Painless. The Cowsills were great too.

ETA that South American Getaway from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was great too.

The older guy in the middle of your picture is gawking. Would have been hard not to.

#ReleaseTheKrakens

What a moment the release of those must have been.

The man in the middle admiring Carol Wayne is Herb Voland, a long time character actor who has been in a ton of classic TV. He often played some sort of Judge or Military Officer. He was Gen. Crandell Clayton on MASH.

The episode in question is titled "Love and the Nervous Executive". Guess which part Paul Lynde played.

Carol Wayne appeared on Bewitched with Lynde, Voland played half a dozen different roles on Bewitched as well.
