When watching a movie I never look away when people are killing each other but I find it incredibly hard to watch when they kill an animal. I'm just curious if anyone else is like this.

I have not seen I am Legend because I'm convinced the dog dies.

Whenever I see I am legend I can't stay around during that scene.

I'd say why I brought it up but it would be a spoiler to the show but my gut always gets twisted whenever an animal death scene comes up.

Animal death scenes in movies always makes tear up. Well unless it is a cat.

I did tear up when Mufasa died so that does count as a cat I guess.

I got a buddy who refuses to watch War Horse and Rise of the Planet of the Apes for fear that the horse and main ape dies.

But yeah, I hate when the animals dies too. True Grit was pretty bad. Especially the way he had to go.

That's why I haven't seen them. Yes, seriously.

I think it's a sign of poor moral upbringing when a person values the life of an animal more than the life of a human.

I promise I care more about any animal than I do anything that happens to you especially.

There are many animals on this earth I value more than a lot of people on this earth.

I would then say you have had a deficient, anti-Classical, and anti-Christian upbringing.

Since we're on the subject, do you know what's also pretty dang sad? Nearly all the animals in these films have died in real life.

Old Yeller is long gone. Buddy bit it long ago.

Maybe people get so choked up because they identify with the animal due to their own experience with their pets? Be it from their childhood or adult lives.

Sir you can call me names and whatnot but don't assume that sort of shite with me. That sort of arrogance is a huge insult. Your insulting my family with that comment and I would seriously beat your arse if you were standing in front of me right now.
