People were so obsessed with Daryl that they show writers were too scared to ever kill him off. I think he is a great pick for this thread

Daryl should have died before the Negan situation, but after Rick td him he was his brother.

You should have wished Daryl was around when Rick met Negan..would have made the audience miss the character as they would have felt Daryl would've never let that happen.

Daryl and Carol both. The show accidentally let them become super heroes and now they can’t figure out really what to do with super heroes in the zombie apocalypse.

should've died at terminus saving her friends, reuniting the group and redeeming herself to Rick..as she saved his daughter and brought her back to him.

Something he failed at for her.

Beth Dutton, Yellowstone. So over the top.

The whole show is massively overrated.

We've watched every show and it has its moments. But it can be sillier than Sons of Anarchy. And that's saying a lot.

Jesse Pinkman
A great partner for Walt. Was already trying, unsuccessfully, to make a living off of dealing drugs. In the beginning, they needed each other. Walt was the mad scientist who regretted not having the money to take care of his family, and Jessie was an addict, who was doing pretty well for an addict. Still had a car, and even had a place to live until the aunt(?) died.

Walt could not have had any success without Jessie's street connections. Jessie was getting to the point where he would have been dead or in jail for the majority of his life without Walt.

Aaron Paul played the role well. The writers did a good job of putting him in the kind of situations a guy like him would get into. Especially where Jessie was in his life before Walt got involved with him.

Yeah there are a ton of issues with Breaking Bad, particularly after S4.

Jesse Pinkman is not one of them.

Glad BCS is cleaning up that show's reputation.

I've said it before, Sopranos is my favorite, the GOAT, and paved the way for characters like Walter White.

Having said that, Walter White's 5 season long episode from Sympathetic Hero to Irredeemable Heel is about as well drawn and masterful as anything I've ever seen. Tony Soprano was pretty much the same guy at the end that he was in the beginning.

They challenge you with each step into darkness over 5 seasons to stay with Team Walt. I hopped off when the kid on the motorbike got blown away.

I think Walter was that guy all along, just repressed. The cancer diagnosis unleashed him.

Ots like what the joker said at the end of the dark knight.."Madness as you know, is like gravity all it takes is a little push."

Being told you are about to die was his push.

Eta

And thats the beauty of that show. We can sit sit here and discuss how this or that may be..and its enjoyable to. 5 seasons of brilliant production.

Yes. Walter shows his true colors early on in the series when Elliott and Gretchen offered Walter a high paying job and health insurance to help him fight his cancer. Walter’s pride consumes him.

Well even back before then..remember Walter used to drive a Porsche, had confidence in everything he was involved in..back in the day, he thought the house they were looking at was just temporary and wanted bigger and better.

He was always strange with his decision making, on a dime he left Gretchen for Skylar. Didnt tell her why, just paked his shite and left to go be with the young blonde waitress he had been noticing near his campus.

Seeds were planted long ago imo

The fact that the Dude refers to himself as "The Duderino" was just cringe. The more I've seen the film, the less likeable Bridges is in it.

But like UB said, he isn't bad as a straight man. Sam Elliott as The Stranger was kind of meh, as well. I didn't care for Julianne Moore, either. Sobchak made the film, and some of the scenarios definitely redeem it. I mean, seriously, after "Is this your homework, Larry?", I don't see how anyone could give up on the film.

The show grows tiresome after a while, of course, but you really can't put Michael Scott in the class of overrated when he's got dozens, maybe hundreds, of instantly funny lines. That's like saying Kramer is overrated. He has too many classic scenes to warrant criticism.

I'm sure I have many, but off the top of my head I'll say Loki. Just an uneven and forgettable character with a stupid mullet.
