Short hair was fricking fire in the scene with Michelle Monaghan toward the end.

Okay what was the funniest scene of the show this season?
I’m assuming the Sam Rockwell speech will be the winner, and it’s a great choice.
Some others that had me rolling
1. The Russian dude immediately trying to extort the blonde chick for $10,000 after they had sex, even rattling off different methods she could use to pay
2. Piper realizing she’s vain and awful like her parents and seeing the different reactions of Tim and Victoria, especially Tim realizing he has to kill her now.
3. Rick releasing all the snakes and one of them biting Chelsea
Others?

It’s shocking how poorly-written and weak this season was, considering all the attention it got.
I don't understand why MW is given such leeway with the heavy use of such basic tropes. I mean, I like watching gorgeously shot film as much as the next guy, but there's just so much of the crashing waves and birds and whatnot. But this stuff is like first year film student...right?
I really was expecting the Ratliff dad to enter the temple and never come out - sort of taking actual sanctuary there from western LEO. That seems like it would have been way better of a "death" - at least from Piper's view. She likely still would have found it utterly incomprehensible. Speaking of Piper, her character was simply done too ham-handedly. The "TAIWAAN!!!" thing wasn't funny. It was stupid. Hey look, she's so ignorant she doesn't even know where they are!!! Please.
I did like Belinda basically becoming Tanya as well as the Ratliff daughter being exposed for the poser she was.
Was surprised at how fulsome the 3 cougar storyline turned out to be. That was actually some of the best writing. Instead of making them purely 2 dimensional snipes, they allowed them to be pretty real. They actually addressed emotional and relationship complexity.
Despite the relatively poor writing, I thought Jason Isaacs was awesome. The level he made me forget he was a British dude was crazy.

All of his scenes were really funny. Parker Posey was also great. Her scene with Leslie Bill was so awkward

I really wish we had seem Saxon's face when he saw the news about their dad.
Yes, at least a brief clip of him seeing the messages pop on his phone when he got it back.

That or when Victoria was asking the girl at the party why she was with the old man.

Just thought of something. Saxon got lucky. Old girl said Greg wanted to watch him eff her. But I just remembered that Greg was involved with those gays, for sure the head gay. I bet he would have wanted to do more than watch.
Yikes.
Yikes.

Haha I forgot about that, great call

I didn't like how there was no mention if Saxon knew Chelsea was killed. I assume he would have because he was on the boat with the 3 cougars and they were present when the shooting started. Surely it would have been discussed. I think he would have been sadder than he appeared. He clearly had a connection with her.

The last 10 mins or so were very rushed. It's a legit criticism of the episode

This is the 3rd best season. They pretty much go in order. Still enjoyable.
Random Thoughts:
The rich dad was wasted and just sat around looking catatonic and miserable for about 5 or 6 episodes. Boyd Crowder wasn't far behind. It got old. Really old. Boyd had a few better moments. But not many. Totally wasted star power there.
The massage chick came full circle, from getting abandoned after being promised by a rich chick, to becoming the rich chick and leaving her BF behind. That was nicely poetic. I liked it. And felt bad for the dude.
The three chicks storyline was harmless and had a nice moment in the end.
Snaggletooth getting killed...that's the real gutting part of this season. She was probably the most innocent creature in the entire season.
I wonder if the writers lost their nerve to let the youngest son die? Or did they lose their nerve on the father poisoning the rest of them? Also--who wouldn't at least rinse that nasty blender out?

The blender thing bugs me. Why wouldn't the dad wash it out after dumping the glasses? He was aware enough to dump the glasses but, not the blender?
Lochy sniffing it and then "wtf" makes a smoothie anyway?
Mook being a hero for shooting the guy in the back sucks. Dude is unarmed walking away with his arms full but, he shoots him anyway?
i did like how the dad planned to kill everyone except the one kid that said he could live with no money. And then, the one he didn't want to kill drinks the poison anyway.
the mom and son blackmailing the rich guy into $5m was weird. I'm thinking greg has plans for them in the future.
Chelsea dying sucked, she was one of the few good people this season.
the 3 chicks's story line comes full circle. they get there all lovey dovey, cat fights along the way but, in the end they're still friends.
So, nothing happens to the thieves even though Gaitok knows who they are? He's a nice guy to valentin but, shoots a guy in the back?
I would like to see what happens when the whole family finds out they're broke and the bread winner is going to jail.
Rick having a full meltdown and killing the guy who he thought killed his father only to find HE is his father.

I think the problem is we’re all looking at it from a sober, responsible adult perspective.
- Tim had downed the rest of the Ativan and was fricked up. Makes sense he’d forget about the blender when that high (remember he’s only been taking the Ativan for a handful of days).
- Lachlan is a teenager with the risk assessment skills of an orange cat. Probably thought either he’d get a little alcohol in his drink or it was the remnants of Saxon’s morning shake (which he had up until that AM).

this part I can buy.
I guess the rest of the family members are just so spoiled they are used to having the maid clean up after them?

I was on Ativan for a bit after my brother passed. I left a bread loaf open once but put up the mustard and lunch meat on it. And I was probably taking a 1/3rd on what he threw back.

That’s what I assumed as well.

if there were shots at a resort the resort would be on lockdown forever.

I mean at some point in every show you have to suspend a little belief. This isn't a huge exception.

Not sure what another scene with a bunch of Thai police and ambulances would have accomplished. We already saw that earlier in the season anyway.
Implied storytelling and common sense tells it was a shitty aftermath and everyone was interviewed, then sent home as planned.
