Hope they don’t make the white conservative TX trump supporter the shooter.

I wish we wouldn’t know this. Now I will be expecting someone famous all episode and it won’t be a surprise. Womp womp.
it will be a surprise. And honestly, I don't recall which episode exactly Rick is in Bangkok first, but that revealing phone call tells me soon. I was going off reviews that stated the guest star was later in the season. It was in the trades, so I didn't violate my NDA.
But, point taken.

I'm on the other side of this. I am going to be watching and waiting for it. No idea who it is so it's still a surprise.
I thought it was Ke Huy Quan's voice cameo but I was wrong. Making it more interesting for me anyways.

I disagree with those saying this season is slow/boring. There’s plenty of tension building up and that will make the payoff (hopefully) even better. Tantric TV if you will.
the Ratliff dad unraveling is almost hard to watch. goggins was good in this episode and scary uncle rico is appropriately creepy.
I’m not invested in the three catty broads though. They do nothing for me

one thing though…how plausible is it that Belinda would not have heard about Tanya’s death in Italy? Surely that made the news, and even if it didn’t the employees would have known about it.
since Greg clearly got away with it I don’t see how her knowing changes the story any

I love watching this show so much but 3 straight weeks and basically nothing has happened

Armand spiraling in Season 1 was mesmerizing to watch. People have revisionist history saying that Season 1 was slow.
Feels like in the past 2 episodes, we've had about 25 total minutes watching people get stretched, massaged, getting their chakras opened, meditation, and laying by the pool. It's the equivalent of watching Taylor Sheridan cutting horses.

Each season has also been one episode longer than the previous season.

Season 1 great
Season 2 great
Season 3 slow but has potential
Not all slow burns are a badge of honor. Some shows are great with slow burns and some just never really amount to shite. This series as a whole is a slower burn than most shows on television but there just hasn’t been much to hang your hat on this season so far. We don’t even have a variation of the theme song this season and have only got a snippet of it. They took away the one thing that we could count on every episode
just seems pompous as hell to change it up like that after two seasons. I’ve read theories on it and how it’s all about a spiritual change with the setting and would white lotus still be white lotus without the theme, yada yada. Spare me.
With that being said, I think season 3 still sticks the landing but supremely underwhelming to start.

The only one I can’t stand and find zero interest in is the black therapist chick. But at least she’s serving a purpose with the Greg angle.
That's the most interesting storyline to me. It didn't sound like she even knew Tanya (Coolidge) was dead.

seems like the black chic gonna bust the bald husband somehow

she was a “half a billion” heiress and there were three other fatalities in addition to her. It would have been in the news LOL. Also, I worked at Hyatt for 15 years…we knew within days of “incidents” at other properties and this was pre internet

The previews for next week show her looking up and finding out about it online.

This has been the most notable issue for me. That and certain shots look like they came from a daytime soap opera.

It was in the news according to the trailer for the next episode. Belinda just didn't see/hear about it.

saw that just now
hopefully they eventually address how Greg got away with it after “questioning”. I guess it helped that Tonya killed his co-conspirators LOL.
But Portia knows what happened and so does the “nephew”
