Rocky I

Rocky IV

Creed - I mean, it’s good to see Rocky got over his permanent brain damage he had in Rocky V.

Haven’t seen Creed II or Balboa.

Haven't seen Creed II, but Rocky Balboa was suprisingly pretty good. I didn't have high hopes, but it was a solid, entertaining movie.

I go with

3- just sheer training/fighting awesomeness-love the end fight. "I may be stupid but i aint breathin heavy"

4- over the top 80's awesomeness-love the training music
"go for it"

1- classic- love the meat locker scene the best
"hey rock- take her to the zoo"

2- I love the intro in wheelchairs and when he trains after adrian says "win" also "i wonder if you wouldnt mind marrying me"

rocky balboa

The original Rocky...I still remember seeing it as a kid in the theater and being obsessed with wanting to box afterwards (it didn't last long for a 7 year old). The ultimate underdog story. He knows he can't win, but still endures.

Rocky...go the distance

This isn't just a boxing story, or an underdog story...it's a story about love, perseverance and redemption.

You'll like Creed even more if you see Balboa.

Rocky III is seriously underrated. It has a great story,

It’s the same story as 2 and 1 only Rocky in the role of Apollo at the beginning

4....plus the music puts it over the top. The original Gonna Fly score, Burning Heart, Hearts on Fire, No Easy Way Out, Living in America, plus the training montage music.

Rocky is the best movie of the series. It’s a legitimately great movie about the pain and triumph of being a man. Rocky has to come to grips with the fact that, as much as he believes in himself, there are things he simply cannot do. He cannot beat Creed. That is a painful thing for him to admit to himself. But he triumphs because he does not let that stop him from trying as hard as he possibly can. It’s a message that anyone can relate to, and which was retroactively ruined when they made Rocky II and let him achieve the impossible.

Rocky IV and Rocky III are the most entertaining, by far.
