Alien (1979) came out two years before I was born and Aliens (1986) was when I was too young to see it so I would've liked to have been able to see those in theaters.

I go back and forth between Predator and Aliens.

Fortunate to see it in the theater. I don't recall being visually stunned (it felt like a 70s movie to me) but thinking this movie has changed film making forever afterward.

I only read the subject of the OP's thread when I made my first post..Those obviously aren't ones that I didn't see because I wasn't born, or old enough at the time. That list is great movies I have only seen on TV. They're ones that I just didn't go see.

Here's the ones a 65 year old missed in the theater because I wan't born, or wasn't old enough to see in the theater.

The Wizard of Oz
King Kong-
Fewer Kilometers is right the crowd probably went wild when they saw Kong on The Empire State Bldg.!
The Thief of Bagdad-Features flying carpets and a giant genie!
North by Northwest
Ben-Hur

From Here to Eternity-My dad is in one of the platoons marching at the beginning of the movie.
Quo Vadis

A couple that I didn’t see in the theater because maybe the theaters in The South didn’t show them

In the Heat of the Night
To Kill a Mockingbird

Movies that were released before I was born, but I saw in a theater or at a drive in theater that showed a lot of old movies.

1930’s
The Adventures of Robin Hood
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Gone with the Wind
Frankenstein
Bride of Frankenstein

1940’s
Pinocchio
Dumbo

1950’s
African Queen
Bridge Over the River Kwai
Shane
Dracula (1958)
Winchester '73 (1950)

I'm lucky enough to have seen all of my favorite movies growing up in the 70's and 80's. One that comes to mind though that is a little before my time is "Bullitt". Also "The Searchers"

Jaws
Rocky
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Outlaw Josey Whales

Was born in ‘73 so pretty much everything from about ‘80 on I did see in the theaters and actually remember.

I’ll never forget being in there as a kid.

That T Rex scene for the first time in a theatre was insane

How old? I saw it originally and then went back at some point when it was re-released. There was a mom and a few kids in front of us...small kids.

This is a straight up horror show for kids under a certain age. They left the picture.

I saw a lot of these as a kid. I'll never forget holding my dad's hand in front of my eyes for Jaws (was far too young for that). Or being transformed by Star Wars. Saw Predator in HS. Saw Jurrasic Park as a young adult. Raiders ET. Rocky 3 and 4. Good times.

One thing that’s cool about living in Los Angeles is that there are a bunch of theaters that play classic movies. Quentin Tarantino bought the Vista theater down the street. I think they are playing Caddyshack pretty soon. That could be fun!

I rather wish I could have seen the first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies in the theater, mainly because of the music scores (always been a bit of a Alan Silvestri fan).
