Where does Tobias Funke rank in terms of all time great sitcom characters?

Season 4 was harsh for Michael and Lindsey. Ugh. They ruined those characters by playing into the things that never happened. Michael also lost his stature as the straight man, and the show suffered a bit for it.

I guess I agree with this, but I still like Michael a lot.
The scene in S5 with he and George Michael at the elevator was gold.
The only ruined character for me is George Sr.
Is that actor actually going through a gender transition?
