I posted on the OT (my first mistake) about the A-Team. Obviously Dallas, Magnum PI, and the Dukes of Hazzard were great. The Fall Guy… incredible.

Simon & Simon was another good one

The Equalizer
Air Wolf
Dallas
Magnum
Beauty and the Beast
Jake and the Fat Man
Knots Landing
Murder She Wrote
Newhart...

Watched all these in the comfy confines of my grandparent’s house. Good times!

Tour of Duty with Rolling Stones paint it black, but a theme song written for a show I’d go with Knight Rider.

Magnum PI and Knightrider, easily. LINK and LINK

For kids stuff, the Ninja Turtles intro (written by Chuck Lorre, yes, that Chuck Lorre) and Saved By The Bell intro songs were the ones that got you the most pumped.

As for the theme it's gotta be Miami Vice.

Wait two Baywatch girls were on Charles in Charge?

Chachi certainly moved up from Joanie.

Miami Vice is quintessential 80s.

I also love the computerized tone of Doogie

Thank you for being a friend
Traveled down the road and back again
Your heart is true your a pal and a confidant.

And if you through a party
Invited everyone you ever knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say thank you for being a friend.
