Didn't care for it. It wasn't bad, but I just didn't see what all the fuss was about and figured it appealed to some demographic alien to me, like Midwesterners or something.

I felt vindicated when Salma Hayek trashed it in Dogma.

I was 16 when it came out and saw it twice in theaters. First time I took my little sister to a matinee and it was horrible. Theater was filled with young kids most of which had already seen the movie once and they kept ruining upcoming scenes. I finally told one kid to shut up and his mom got all pissy, but the kid talked the entire movie giving away the upcoming scenes to his buddies.

Second time was with a date who had never seen it and I finally got to watch the movie and enjoy it. Laughed my arse. The spider scene with Marv screaming still makes me laugh.

I don’t remember the theater experience but I clearly remember Siskel & Ebert’s negative review of the movie. They lamented Joe Pesci appearing in such a movie and how it was his only bad performance of his career. Three months later, they did a follow-up review segment on their show to talk about what they, and other critics, missed since they both gave it thumbs down but the movie was killing it at the box office.

The dinner we had at Pizza Hut after leaving the theater was the best part.

I remember seeing it at the Galleria in Metry. I thought it was awesome. The audience was laughing throughout. I also remember going home and trying my Dad's Brut and doing the screaming bit in the mirror.

It seems like that movie was in theaters for almost a year.

The first time I saw my cousin brought my friend and I on Christmas break in the 1990. Great time great movie.

The second time I watched part of it, it was Fall of 91. A group of us were sneaking around to different movies and had to flee Home Alone as my friend threw a a candy bar at the screen and up security came in.

I was 21 when Home Alone came out, and I loved it. Great to see it on the big screen. Went with a friend and his kids to Home Alone 2 at the theatre. All I could think during it was (in real life, these would have killed them). I wasn't a huge fan of it, compared to the 1st one.

It was awesome.

I still remember the title screen coming up in the theatre.
