Thanks FK - that blows my Munch thread to smithereens.

Animal House: In 1962, Kent "Flounder" Dorfman begins classes as a freshman at Faber College. We learn that Kent is a legacy of Delta Tau Chi; his brother Fred (Class of '59; approx. 7 years older) was a member of that fraternity. Fred is referenced several times, as he lets his little brother Kent borrow his nice car for awhile around homecoming weekend.
Flash forward to...
Fletch: In 1985, reporter Irwin "Fletch" Fletcher, working on a story, is desperately trying to evade local police, and tries to hide out in a fraternal organization luncheon full of old men honoring...
Fred Dorfman!!!
But wait, you say. Kent's brother Fred was class of '59, which would make him about 22 in '59, and about 48 years old in 1985. Those guys at the luncheon (including the one that is apparently Fred Dorfman, left of the lectern) are obviously much older. And Fred is being honored for 40 years of civic service-- no way he was doing that since he was 8 years old.
That's because the man being honored is Kent and Fred Dorfman's DAD (who's about 20 years older than Fred, Jr. and 68-70 years old)...
...FRED DORFMAN.... SENIOR.

Die Hard
We all know about Officer Carl Winslow being in Die Hard and Family Matters, but a lot of people forget he was in Ghostbusters too

Every Tarantino movie due to similar Mexican food dishes and the Red Apple cigarettes. Plus Mr. Blonde from Reservoir Dogs and Vincent from Pulp Fiction are the Vega brothers.

I remember seeing where there is a Benthic Petroleum truck somewhere in Twister. Benthic Petroleum owns the rig in The Abyss. It's also been mentioned that Benthic Petroleum is shown somewhere in T2, I think at a gas station.

Wayne's World and Airheads.
Meet Milton Wilson of Aurora, Illinois and good friend to Wayne and Garth:
He was once a burnout, but was able to channel and ultimately harness his aggression to become a club bouncer. He then went on to provide security detail for WayneStock and befriend Del Preston. After a year of touring the country with Del, he decided a life of drugs and partying wasn't for him. It was at that moment he chose to move out to the West Coast and transform himself into an Officer of the Law.

Not a movie, but I can't wait until down the road when we find out all of the AMC shows are connected.
The Breaking Bad/Walking Dead connection is fairly well documented if you google it.

The coolest "shared universe" theory I've heard doesn't involve two movies, but I'll share it here anyway.
Event Horizon takes place in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and is in fact when humanity first discovers the Warp. This makes way too much sense, from the general outline of the plot, to the gothic design of the ship, to just about everything.
I remember this. There is some 20 minuets YT theory video that goes deep into this.
