While the plot of Avatar was nothing more than Dances With Wolves / A Man Called Horse / Ferngully, the 3D was absolutely phenomenal.

I didn't love the 3D era but I did love the 3D in Avatar. Without the 3D it was a cheap imitation of the movies I listed. Not as good as any of them but the 3D made it worth a watch in the theater.

It would have at least spared you from having to hear “I am directly beneath, the enemy’s scrotum.”

I'll never walk out of a movie I paid to see, but Jennifer's Body with Megan Fox was the biggest pieces of crap I've ever seen aside from one or two hot Megan Fox scenes.

Sometimes on this website you read a post and realize that there are just completely different types of humans from yourself. Like, we’re operating on opposite wavelengths.

Right?!?

This movie inspired my dog's name: Jovie.

As for the OP, I haven't walked out of anything, but slept through 60% of Mystery Alaska. Never thought I'd hate a hockey movie.

Just trying to figure out how old you would be. Old enough to walk out on a movie in '65, but still a teenager almost 19 years later.

SoM was playing in the local 75 cent theater in the very early 70's.
I did have to call mom to pick us up.
