Offhand, I don’t remember walking out of a movie, but I’ll give it more thought.
I did see one guy get up and leave because he couldn’t deal with Julia Stiles hooking up with Omar Epps.
That was kind of funny…

I've only walked out on one movie. Years ago, I took my seven year old son to see the "Yougio (sp) Movie". It was very loud and all they did was scream but I was sucking it up for my kid, when my son turns to me and says, "This isn't very good!" I asked him if he wanted to leave and get ice cream and he said yes.
Before that my parents made us leave "American Graffiti" due to a makeout scene. It was years before I ever saw the ending of the movie.

I wanted to walk out of The Happening, but my friend drove and wanted to stay. I ended up hanging out in the lobby getting concessions I didn't need for most of the last portion of the movie.
I was laughing at apparently inappropriate times, like the lawnmower guy.

Old people at 11am weren't a fan of the opening of that movie.
I didn't say *I* walked out of it

Woody Allen’s Celebrity 1998-1999.
I knew better. I really did. 100% on me for going along.

I didn't walk out, because I was with my wife and she got to pick the movie that night, but I slept through at least half of Out of Africa with Robert Redford and Meryl Streep. It was BORING!

In The Cut. An erotic thriller with Meg Ryan when she was still cute? Sign me up!
Yeah. They shot it in a hand held, unsteady cam, jumpy cut way that gave me motion sickness ten minutes in.

Darren Aronofski is an acquired taste, I must admit. His movies require a lot of buildup and I can see how some people would see his artsy style as a negative. I enjoyed most of his movies, although Mother! Was absolutely abhorrent.

Blood Diamond. My wife and I on her first date. She picked. Haven't let her pick a movie since.

Excellent movie.

Freddy Got Fingered is so bad that it makes Islamic Jihadists seem sympathetic by comparison. A dubbed musical featuring Jeffrey Dahmer would have entertained more people.
Watch the baby/umbilical cord scene today. It's hilarious.

The only movie I have ever walked out on wasn't my fault. My friend who was driving didn't like Hidden Fortress at the Prytania Theater. This was a LONG time ago. The newspaper advertisement said the movie inspired George Lucas to make Star Wars. So my buddy thought it would be a sci-fi flick. He had no idea it would be a subtitled Samurai movie.
That's it. I don't tend to go to the theater to watch movies I don't think I will like. Rentals? Sure. Wasted a lot of money on bad Blockbuster but I haven't seen too many movies in the theater that I absolutely hated.
Outbreak is the main one that comes to mind. As soon as the guy on the plane stopped the kid from eating the cookie, I knew we had a Disneyfied dumbed down virus movie that was going to suck. I was correct. The miraculous cure at the end and the HORRIBLE fake explosion that was supposed to be strong enough to destroy the whole city but it looked like it wouldn't even demolish a gas station. I should have walked out of that one.

You should finish Hidden Fortress. It’s really good.
