Shogun was the better move

"There Will Be Blood" today.

WTF? What a pointless ending.I was kinda hoping DD Lewis and the preacher were gonna have some type of epic struggle at the end.

Butterfly Effect

Used to love that movie...in retrospect, it's sort of a mess.

Starship Troopers last night...movie still holds up as Cinema gold.

Although the more you watch it, the more you realize what a cuck Johnny is. He makes all his life decisions for the affection of a tease.

Entire Ken Burns baseball doc.

Unsolved Mysteries

90's Outer Limits

The Fly

Mayday Air Disaster Investigations

Ford vs. Ferrari

James Bond movies (the Sean Connery ones)

The Bounty

Wayne's World

Basically sports and escapism and a little nostalgia comedy.

Last night I watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I missed it in the theater and I have managed to avoid all spoilers other than I knew it involved the Manson murders in some way. I really enjoyed this movie. It might be at the top with Jackie Brown as my favorite Tarantino films.

I think it played like a Hollywood Grimm fairy tale, with just that little bit of horror and foreboding underneath the surface, knowing what was coming at the end of Cielo Drive. Of course, if you're part of the short attention span generations that have little sense of history, then the Sharon Tate stuff might be lost on you. It also did a fine job of connecting Rick's fading career to the end of the Golden Age of Hollywood filmmaking. I enjoyed it immensely and it's worth a rewatch, something I can't say about recent QT movies.
