Based on the Brian Herbert prequels? No thanks.

May not be a true prequel, but Predator. Predator and Predator 2 hinted at earlier trips to Earth during different historical periods. I'd like to see some of that.

I'd like to see "The Knights of the Old Republic" be brought to the big screen. I'd bet cash we'll get it eventually as a stand alone film.

I'd be shocked if they don't do a season of Robert's Rebellion after it's all said and done.

Also, wouldn't mind a prequel series based around Avatar Wan.

We already know what happens though

That would be boring

House of 1000 Corpses

I'd love to see how that cray cray family got started, and I believe Zombie could pull it off.

You really wouldn't want to see the slaying of Aerys where Jaime sits on the throne, the Battle of the Trident on the level of the Battle of Blackwater, the Sack of King's Landing, or the Tower of Joy?

Say what you will about the Hobbit trilogy, but every scene I was ecstatic about seeing was done masterfully and worth making. The scene with the trolls, Bilbo's Riddle game with Gollum, the Mirkwood Spiders, Smaug himself and his death, as well as Thorin's death. It was worth it just to see those scenes brought to the big screen. The problem was there was far too much fluff and shite in the middle of it. Should have been 2 movies. It just frustrating when Jackson just nails the scenes he knows he can't frick up on, and then fricks up everywhere else.

Sure, but armed with the full knowledge of the outcome, would I care? Nope

How many times did we say "isn't it going to be awesome seeing the old republic, anakin skywalker, etc."

Part of the problems with those movies is we already knew what was going to happen, and those stories weren't as fleshed out as the events preceding game of thrones

They completely fricked that up though, so I find it irrelevant.

I just haven't seen many prequels that I really liked. X-Men First Class was one, but I just don't see the point in investing in a project that tells a story that we already know the outcome. I would rather see a sequel.

Regardless, you knew what happened. And all of the events preceding game of thrones including the biggest outcome (Robert wins, lannisters frick over the targareyans) have been detailed at length in both the books and show.

One of the hooks of the show is to see the political maneuvering. From the get go we'd know everyone's endgame and how it plays out.

Sure, it would look good, but it would be boring.

Prometheus, but not a story about the human scientists. I'd like to know what happened to that alien race

It depends on whether or not a prequel is concerned with showing us events spoke of in other movies or telling a new story

First class and temple of doom are rare examples of prequels done correctly, though first class does skew further towards the "backstory" end of the spectrum than temple of doom which is completely unconcerned with indy's beginnings.
