House of Dark Shadows. As a small boy, it scared me to death. Got my arse beat for painting a huge cross on my dad’s shed to keep the vampires away when I played outside after dark.

A movie called “Homicidal” With a surprise ending when the knife wielding killer was revealed. Scared the shite out of me. Kind of a Psycho cousin.

In the cut.

I loved Meg Ryan and her cuteness, and that went straight down the drain after this movie.

8 Legged Freaks- Watched that as an 8 year old, and I had nightmares for years of giant spiders attacking me. I hate spiders

Deep Blue Sea, Jaws, and the other shark movies- I still fear seeing sharks at the beach.

Menace 2 Society, Boys N Da Hood, and the other 90s hood movies- For so long I was super fearful of being the victim of a drive-by. I didn't even grow up in the hood, but for some reason I was just as scared. If I saw a car driving on the street slowly, I automatically started running,

Not traumatized by freaked me out...because it was just...crazy weird for a kid...

Learning that the cops can be awful human beings - young girl getting raped and murdered and everyone blaming it on a kind retard who is murdered by the cops.

And then his ghost comes back to kill them all in revenge.

And this was a fricking Sunday Night Movie TV special but it played out like some gritty 70's slasher you'd rent with a strong R-rating.

Movie was creepy as hell and violent and scary for a supposed tame 80's movie of the week.
