There aren't any movies I can remember that incited "bawling" but quite a few that I felt so sorry for a character or sad to the point of getting misty eyed.

The end of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles gets me a little misty eyed.

The end of Where the Red Fern Grows (especially the book) whe old Dan and little Ann die is heartbreaking.

Jenny's graveside memorial in Forrest Gump

just to name a few off the top of my head.

That was sad but for some reason that didn't hit me the same way that other dog movies have. Where the Red Fern Grows has the saddest ending to a animal I've ever seen or read with Old Yeller a close second. Just gut wrenching.

Very rough. The whole way that movie is set up it's impossible for it not to get to you.
