I'll always say my favorite is High Plains Drifter, but Unforgiven and TGTBTU are his best.

HPD was the first Clint flick I saw. That's why it's my favorite. Lots of folks don't know that Clint kept Unforgiven on the side until he got old enough to play the part. The script was given to him in the mid 80s.

I forgot about those two movies. They were funny

GB&U followed closely by outlaw Josey Wales and Kelly's heroes. Gotta give a shout out to where eagles dare as an underrated classic of his as well.

Dirty Harry was a great movie. Unfortunately, it was somewhat diminished by the sequels. The iconoclastic Harry Callahan became the symbol for the maverick cop working against the system.

Josey Wales and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly are two obvious ones. Loved the Dirty Harry movies too.

Just rewatched that. Used to like it back in the day.
Forgot how good it was. Like it's a legit great film...we all love Shawshank but damn why this movie doesn't get talked about more with Clint's great movies is beyond me.
I thought it would seem dated and boring...neither was the case. The movie could be released today.

I’m 28 and have just recently developed an appreciation for westerns. Have been trying to knockout some Clint films. Most recently watched Pale Rider as my dad always said that was his favorite and really enjoyed it. Going to dive into the Sergio Leone trilogy next

Pale Rider for me. Then "The good, bad and ugly"
