Kill Bill has near to 4 versions, the best is called the Japanese version (17 scenes and 62 seconds longer), the International Version (the american release), the German version (just as long as the inter version) and there appears to be a Sweden version (which appears to be very close to the inter version).

This guy watches the really sick stuff. I found this list yesterday and hadn't heard of any of these except for two. He probably knows them all.

In the medieval 'vien' try "Ironclad." Decent movie and the fight scenes are gory brutal. Not sure what the name of the movie has to do with the movie. Has nothing to do wit5h the civil war or ships. It is all hack and slash.

Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance
Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx
Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart to Hades
Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in Peril
Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in the Land of Demons
Lone Wolf and Cub: White Heaven in Hell

The first couple The Street Fighter movies had some pretty violent stuff too iirc. The first was the first movie in the US to get an X rating for violence.

YES. That movie is brutal to watch. Basically 2 hours of torturing a man who deserves it, but near the end you start to feel sorry for him. Its also stunningly beautiful with the cinematography. But man are those South Koreans pretty sick. Pretty much any South Korean revenge film is gonna be pretty brutal like Oldboy, The Man From Nowhere, The Chaser, and Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, but all are very good movies.

Flowers of Flesh and Blood.
A serial killer kidnaps a woman and performs an ancient samarai ritual for his camera, turning her
into a flower of flesh and blood. He cuts off her hand, then cuts off her arm, he saws off
her leg, he slices her stomach open and pulls out her intestines, he cuts off her head, then scoops out
her eyeball with a spoon. After that he shows us his collection of body parts from other victims.

In 1991, the films received additional media attention when Chris Gore , met actor Charlie Sheen and gave him a copy. Sheen then watched Flowers of Flesh and Blood and, mistaking it for a genuine snuff film, immediately contacting the FBI to report it.

Found that interesting.

nobody has mentioned Passion of the Christ? That movie is almost a damn snuff film.

I have to add to the list:

Audition
A History of Violence has some pretty violent scenes, though not a whole lot.
Hardboiled - hospital shootout is over thirty minutes long.
A better Tomorrow 1 and 2
Last Sequence in Straw Dogs - original
