I forgot the Tomahawk Massacre in the "The Patriot". Ben Martin goes full berserker:

Probably Hostel (2005) especially the scene where the poor Asian girl gets her eyeball melted out with a blowtorch.

Nightmare on Elm Street 3, where Freddy cuts the veins out out of a teenage boy and walks him like a puppet
I watched that movie as a kid 40 years ago and still remember that

This one surprised me. Fully expected to see him pull him back at the last minute, maybe have him a little scar as a reminder, but nope. Fully Dipped.

City of God is one of the most gritty and undrrappreciated films of the last 40 years. Little Ze gives me nightmares

Horrible one and just an amazing movie

Will always vote for the rack death scene in saw 3 for this. It’s absolutely brutal and disturbing. The sound of the bones popping like rubber bands is imprinted on my brain

As a franchise that is largely responsible for the explosion "torture p*rn" horror movies in the early 2000s, the gruesome deaths of the Saw franchise's traps could fill out a list all their own. One particular standout comes from Saw 3, with Jigsaws use of "The Rack". When Jigsaw refers to a trap as his personal favorite, audiences know they're in for some pain, as the hapless Timothy's limbs are slowly twisted to the point of popping by the nefarious mechanical contraption. This trap is so sickening it actually makes Jeff, who's son Timothy had killed, forgive him, not wishing the pain on even his worst enemy.

If Zed’s fate in Pulp Fiction had been shown on screen, I imagine it would be worth mentioning here.
