Pulp Fiction scene where they get the briefcase. Samuel L Jackson is so cold blooded the entire scene.

This a bad copy of the scene, still good.

Here is a far better quality version of the move, start it at 2:16 minute mark:

My favorite scene in a movie all time:

Maybe the best opening scene in movie history:

One of the better ending scene;

Slim Pickens rides the bomb at the end of Dr Strangelove. Can't believe no one mentioned it.

I'm certainly no movie guru, but a few that came to mind for me were:

The water shaking moment when the T-Rex got loose in Jurassic park.

The flight of the fellowship through the end of Moria from the Balrog, culminating in
Gandalf's epic clash.

Rosebud.

3rd act of Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Nothing else comes close, IMO.

It's alive, it's alive.... Frankenstein or probably better yet when Frankenstein meets his bride at the end of the sequel

Senator? You can have my answer now, if you like. My final offer is this: nothing. Not even the fee for the gaming license, which I would appreciate if you would put up personally.

It think might be the most iconic image ever filmed, which goes a long way, but I think there are scenes just in Dr Strangelove that are better, maybe not as legendary, but better... The "Flouridation" speech by Hayden and the Keenan Wynn vs Mandrake scene is just as good too.

Last of the Mohicans final confrontation scene. Perfect. Not a word spoken other than a muffled "no" scream.

Oh and DDL says "Uncas!". Forgot about that one.

For 1939, I thought the injured Civil War soldiers scene in Gone With the Wind was impressive.

The "tears in the rain" scene was improvised and is absolutely electric. Hard to top this one.

"Mad as hell" speech from Network is in the same class.

I love Wilfred Brimley's speech in Absence of Malice.

Children of Men single shot and car scene.

Russian Roulette in Deer Hunter.
