In that vein...

1. I would love a Baldur's Gate 1/2 storyline - but Dungeons & Dragons stuff is hard to translate to film, however Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves gives some hope.

2. Disney Star Wars: Do KOTOR - Just don't frick it up.

Have no idea how you'd do it, or how long it would take to make, but I'd love a Space Trilogy series.

Ransom Riggs needs a high-quality hulu show.

The Wager was the best book I have read in a couple years. They are already doing something with it. Scorsese and Leo have it in Pre-production.

Drizzt by RA Salvatore, I can't believe it hasn't been done, unless the cost to recreate is too much.

I would like to see John Sandford’s Virgil Flowers or Lucas Davenport novels made into a series.

It would be amazing to do World War Z the way it's meant to be.

I’m going to say World War Z, because that movie doesn’t count. An adaptation of the book, where the war is presented as an after-the-fact documentary would be dope.

Serge Storm, Doc Ford, or Skink series from the popular Florida authors would be fun.

This is the best answer.

i knew Tim Dorsey, the author of the Serge Storm novels, in his college days at AU, reconnected with him a few years ago while he was on one of his many book tours

sadly, I found out he died in 2023 of an undisclosed illness, not sure who would have the rights to his work

Codex of Alera by Jim Butcher.

SyFy channel fricked up the dresden files, so I don't have much hope.

Kind of tough since most of the books off the top of my head have already been adapted to the screen, with wildly varying levels of quality. So, I guess I'd like either the Honor Harrington or Black Company series be made into a tv show.
