for anyone who has served in the military, especially if you've spent any time as a staff officer in a higher level HQ, the Pentagon Wars is a much watch. it's a funny movie regardless, but if you've lived the life a little bit, you'll find it even funnier and accurate.

I kinda find submarine comedies a guilty pleasure to watch. Rainy day type of thing. Petticoat Junction, Down Periscope, and McHale's Navy (1997 movie).

McHale's Navy has some very good casting and French Stewart. Ernest Borgnine as Cobra!
