The Last Narc was a fantastic documentary and very eye opening.
Just finished it thanks to this thread. DAMN there's some shady shite at high levels of government that we'll never know about. Crazy to think about.

the YouTube series about what happened to Eric Weinstein @ Evergreen College is fairly eye opening and telling..

I saw a documentary years and years ago about the de Beers Group (that holds a worldwide monopoly on the diamond industry) that was fascinating. The amount of power they wield is incredible. So much so, you can barely even find mention of this documentary anymore. If you google it, I believe there are some other documentaries that will pop up in the results, but the one I saw has pretty much been eradiated from existence.

Catfish John, regarding The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia, it helps if you've seen "Outlaw Dancer" before The Wonderful Whites.
For those who don't know, Outlaw Dancer is an Emmy-winning PBS documentary from the early 90's about Jesco White and his family. The actual show is roughly 30 minutes, but there's also 30 extra minutes of interviews and interactions among the family. The only difference between the White family and Livingston Parish meth cookers is geography.
Anyway, after watching Outlaw Dancer, some of what happens in Wonderful Whites is more easily understood or put into context.
