LA Confidential, for sure. Not sure why it doesn't get as much push as some of the others on here.

I'd put LA Confidential in a list of my all time favorite movies. Never gets old.

Was thinking about this awhile back, browsing through the Encore OnDemand movies (before they switched over to the StarzEncore format).
About 12 HD movies, and probably 100+ SD movies.

I think there's a ton of really good films that came out back then, that might have gone to DVD but didn't get to HD format, and a lot of those have been overlooked just due to that technical issue. It's a shame, because there were some great films made then that are forgotten.
