Sam was in 3 SW movies and like 10 Marvel movies as super minor characters...Jurassic Park, too
using the total box office argument to prop up Sam Jackson is like saying he's the reason why Coming to America was a great movie

Harrison Ford
Star Wars trilogy
Indiana Jones trilogy
Blade Runner
Witness
Patriot Games
Presumed Innocent
The Fugitive
Clear and Present Danger
Air Force One
Dude was Han Solo, Indiana Jones and Jack Ryan in a total of 8 films in the span of 17 years. He’s the second highest grossing star ever, and #1 doesn’t count because it’s Sam Jackson due to being present for 5 minutes in each of the Marvel films.

Harrison Ford is the winner.
Tom Hanks is my #2. People forget about the Toy Story movies with him.

Per unit time I’d still take Ford’s resume. His run from 1977-1994 is unmatched and includes 6 all-time top 100 films.

He rode the wave of two franchises which had multiple sequels. Nicholson’s work is more
diverse and to me he shows more depth as an actor.
The thread isn’t about who’s grossed the most
Money in their films.
Again. To me. We’re all going to have differing views.

John Goodman has one hell of a movie resume. Seems to show up everywhere. I don’t know if it’s the most impressive but deserves a mention.
Gene Hackman and, everybody’s favorite, Kevin Spacey also have pretty impressive resumes.

Well, Bill Paxton was on the highest grossing lists and I wouldn’t call him an all-time great.
