in episode 2 when ford rejects the a-hole guy's new storyline proposal, he gives this speech about how WW is a place people go to find out what people can be, yada yada and it splices in with scenes with William meeting Delores

so much foreshadowing and hinting about it

also, i am rewatching the scnee with ford and MIB tonight and ford never addresses MIB by name

the only thing that's clear to me is that some very bad juju went down 35 years ago and we are going to see it in some manner

MIB said he cut up someone and it was just a bunch of pieces. Flesh and blood came later. William has seen blood.

there is no possible way that the technology of 35 yrs in the past wouldn't be laughable to those in the present. And yet we are seeing identical tech from both Williams and man in blacks viewpoints

35 years ago was 1981
to 15 year old me today's tech would be a sci fi flick

That last train scene was pretty wild. Did they show Delores in the train by herself? Or did I make that up?

I think Arnold is still alive. It would be very easy for him to build a host who looked like him. An upgraded version like Delores with flesh and blood. Then just have the host crushed or other way of avoiding an autopsy.

Why would Ford ask Delores when was the last time she interacted with Arnold? Then Ford asked Delores do you have any records since then. So he obviously thinks something's fishy with Arnold's death. Then why does Delores say to know one, I didn't tell him anything. He doesn't know.

Now there is a pictograph of a man in the middle of the maze. It could be Arnold.

Was that McPoyles friend sitting on an observation table at the end in the upcoming scenes? Like he is a host. Maybe I'm just seeing more than is there.

I don't think William = MIB either.

I think they're going to run into each other eventually.

Great episode

I refuse to get into the same 2 storyline bullshite argument again this week

frick this show is awesome tho

The scenes "coming up this season" were pretty awesome. Maaave looks like she becomes a badass. A lot more stuff packed in there still left to come. How many episodes are they doing in a season? 8? 10?

Okay frick it here's my piece of the "2 storylines" clusterfrick

When William and the bro in law are talking in tonight's episode and he tells him they are thinking about buying the company, he says they used to be a partner ship originally before the park opened , but one of the guys killed him self. He talked about it 1.) as if no one knew, and 2.) as if it happened a long time ago. I just rewatched this scene and there is no way to wiggle your way around it. It wasn't vague.

Then the MIB speaks with ford and talks about the event that happened 34 years ago, which we know resulted in Arnold's death.

If the theory is that William is the timeline that MIB is talking about when he says "if it weren't for me", then it still doesn't make sense because they said Arnold killed himself before the park was open, and the Bro in Law has clearly been to the park multiple times before this current experience.

Zippity zoo, TLDR, MIB and William are in the same timeline and slopes is wrong

I'll believe there are two timelines when I see them. Not enough data to make a decision one way or the other. I'm just enjoying the show and letting it all play out.

I did a double-take on that too, but it was Hector.

I agree. And I think we should be talking more about Maeve. That shite was wild. And those tits. Nom nom nom.

Is/Was Arnold's plan to populate the real world with hosts?

I think Arnold was the original creator who created Anthony Hopkins as some kind of ultra AI to run the park, then had an accident himself and the park has basically been run by AI ever since. Also think MiB has some kind of terminal illness, as Anthony Hopkins told him "your anxiety betrays your urgency" or something like that. MiB wanting to figure out the park and maze is his way to beat his incurable illness and somehow live on through the park.

It was definitely one of those scenes where, if it wasn't Anthony Hopkins doing most of the talking, I may have been rolling my eyes and waiting for it to be over. But it was Hopkins, and I was completely invested.

Here's a fun game: Who do we know for certain is human?

Robert Ford. Evidence: we have seen him as a younger man in a picture and as a flashback.

Chick from corporate. Evidence:visited the park as a girl; rotated to the park.

William and Logan. Ev.: arrived on train from real world.

MiB. Ev.: Convo with Ford; Recognized by nameless guests.

Anyone else?
