Stepped in with 6 million dollars at the very last minute to help save the film, made 20 million off of that and then a share in the sequels.

We sure this isn't a fake story to prop up "women in Hollywood"?

I thought you'd go with the Hispanic dig, but you zigged when I thought you'd zag. Keep'em guessing.

How is this possible when women are so under paid?

Did not know that. My first 2 thoughts were wondering why Keanu didn't pop in, or how much had he already invested in the movie to save the film. But, if she has a history of doing this, it does make more sense.

hopefully she made a dang killing on it, nice to see these kinds of investments pay off

I do wonder what the hit rate is on stuff like this is, considering how many bombs you see at the box office weekly

The same with Sandra Bullock. She has her own production company and was behind George Lopez's series.

Lucille Ball paved the way. No Desi-Lu, no Star Trek.

More detail on how Eva Longoria got involved with John Wick and investing:

Edit: Darn, when I clicked on my newsfeed I could read the whole article without logging in, but it looks like it might not work if you click on this link. It might work if you google the article.

Demi Moore has also made a killing.from producing the Austin Powers movies

Eventually, it would be produced by Moving Pictures, which featured a huge 90s star as one of its founding members: Demi Moore.

Yep, in one of those weird coincidences, Demi Moore’s very limited producer roles – she’s only got nine credits on her IMDb page to date – a full third of those make up the Austin Powers trilogy.

That is reason enough to hate her.
