I never said it was shocking to me. I am stating a fact that the creators and those who are making these projects are doing this on purpose, for a reason.
Not only to create controversy which draws attention, but also to promote the DEI message.
You're not stating facts, you are offering your own opinion and acting like it belongs to the producers of this play. Why is an interracial R & J a shocking thing? It's the crux of your argument, yet you refuse to provide any support for this claim. Why is an interracial couple controversial? People having been dating interracially since the dawn of time. Casting a Shakespeare play this way is not some DEI plot. What message do you think they are trying to send?

Except I DO know what I’m talking about. You’ve seen me post about Doctor Who and the BBC. So it doesn’t matter whether it’s stage or screen, the stuff is being done. On either side of the Atlantic.
It’s so bad that Clifton Duncan had to create a crowdfunding campaign to do his one-man play on Thomas Sowell. Because woke Hollywood would never do such a thing.
