political propaganda period.

Some seem to view it that way and others not. I don't care either way. My simple point is that if you view it as political propaganda, and that is something that makes you angry or something you hate (which is almost always the case), why even watch it?

If you're watching, Sister Night went from episode 1 picking a random suspect to beat the info out of to episode 2 not using Judd's murder as an excuse to beat the shite out of random civilians.
Scare and Looking Glass got no problem with gleefully bashing in the Nixonville after given the excuse of a bottle thrown.

The whole time i'm thinking, why is she being nice to this dude? Even if you dont beat him up, take him to the station. You didnt have any problem taking the other guy to the station. I still enjoyed the episode though.

I took it as her being shook by Judd's murder and the strangeness with Gossett Jr., and her questioning what exactly is going on. And she snapped out of it as soon as one suspect went to lay hands on her.

The shock and the strangeness of the situation, but mostly poor writing.
There was no real conveyance she thought he was some sorta gifted individual. There also didn't seem to be any concern that the current force was unmasked if she was.
My new crackpot theory, pops went over to the Germans, got seed money and MAD SCIENCED, and Will and Abby have low-key superstrength, durability, agility, longevity from it.
Will looks like he's 5ish during the riot? So that's around 103 in 2019.

That would add something interesting.

Honestly I'm just spinning wheels until His Dark Materials.

Didn't she kinda suspect the guy was related to her from the get go?..She went and got the DNA test and then when the results came back she submitted her name as a possible descendant.

I said it earlier in this thread.
Will is Hooded Justice. Timeline works.

I know there's plenty of bisexuals that have kids.
But it would rub me the wrong way if Hooded Justice had kids and wasnt killed by Eddie later on. Just because it takes away from The Comedian being a badass and the symmetry between their deaths.

It's probably the worst part of the script. Other than surviving a gut shot and bouncing back to do ninja flips and him being old as dirt, reaching in boiling water, and hanging a guy no problem. She had nothing to go on for being related.
The best case for it is because he egged her on about knowing her and what they share. But we've gone way past the cops being cops in the comic. Scare, Glass, and Night are basically The Shadow type vigilantes on the tax payer dime.

I would say be prepared to be rubbed wrongly then.
They aren't going to stick that closely to cannon. They are using bits and pieces and making it it's own thing. I'm ok with that but understand those who may not be.
Will was the young boy in Tulsa. Will becomes Hooded Justice. The TV show America Hero's or whatever "appropriates" him as a white dude and I don't know from there
But I'm interested enough to be into for now. And of course I could be way off base on everything I think.

A black hooded justice would be interesting
A black guy fighting crime with a noose around his neck is poignant.
It’s still a big departure from the source material. Would be really weird. Also it’s not like you can’t see that H.J. is white through his costume.

Right, but this is supposed to be a continuation of the established story.
And it's not like no one heard Hooded Justice talk.
Course before Watchmen already changed it from Rolf to Jacob and changed up who actually killed him.

I'd say it's much more of a spinoff than a continuation.
I guess the old man could be Hooded Justice, no one ever found out for sure who he was. But I wonder if they'll stay away from that, because as I said, this should be more of a spinoff than a continuation.

Anybody watching tonight?

My guillotine fantasy team has live or die implications riding on the Patriots/Ravens game so I'll be tuned in late to it. Might not get to watch tonight either.
