Anyone else seen this?

I stumbled upon it by accident. I've never heard of it but it got really good reviews, so I gave it a shot.

The general plot line is about a chef who butts heads with his owner and goes off on his own to start a food truck. It doesn't sound like much, but it is a really enjoyable movie with a great cast. If you like to cook, it is definitely a movie worth a watch.

I watched it two years or so ago. I don’t remember much about it, other than it was a very enjoyable watch and had a lot of heart

would be a near perfect movie if not for the forced social media stuff. that always makes me cringe

i know it was actually important to the development of the story but how social media is presented in film/TV is usually terrible

Because of this movie, I made the Cuban-style roast pork that they use to make the sandwiches.

It really is incredible.

As a chef, I found it relatable.

Buuut, I was thrown off about how many laws he broke just haphazardly driving a food truck around and parking it wherever.. small gripe..

But still a fun movie

It was OK. With the cast, I expected it to be funnier. Sort of reminded me of Delivery Man and Everything Must Go. Ok movie, but overall didn’t meet expectations. Don’t go into it thinking it’s a comedy and you’ll be ok I guess.

Always surprised that more people don't love this movie. Great father and son pic.

He just came out with a netflix series called the same thing. It is pretty good. Similar as most food type shows where he is traveling around trying different things. They also do a good job showing you how to make different dishes as well.

He partners with the chef that basically consulted on everything in the movie. Show is pretty good.

Thanks for the heads up on the show. Hadn’t heard that

Love that movie. Like someone else said, great father son flick, road trip movie with a lot of heart, and obviously foodie porn.

What’s not to love??

And yeah that grilled cheese and Cuban

I can’t believe they took Chef off of Netflix now that the show is on there. I know more goes into those decisions, but it seems like a no-brained that they’d both be there.
