He said "A New Hope" is far more feminist than TLJ.
Not Empire or Return.
I am pointing out that ANH is not feminist at all
Well, unless sassy chicks are the definition of feminists
But to your point, yes, she is a hero in Return. In Empire, she was a whiny and lovestruck stereotype.
As far as the character goes, Return is when she starts swinging her dick around.

It’s a fricking movie. You people act like it’s real life.
The Leia scene didn’t make it where the force is now all powerful. None of you bitched when a 3 foot tall green guy lifted a fricking x-wing out of a swamp but Leia being able to pull herself in space to a battle cruiser is just too much to ask of you? Seriously?
frick, in the EU (something most of us fans really enjoyed) a half trainee Kyp Durron used the force to sink a huge battleship into a star. Nobody bitched about that either.

...and failing. You can't even keep the movies straight, let alone what happened in them.

My problem is with Disney. This is Star Wars. Your goal has to be higher with this franchise than to just to entertain casual movie goers.
Your options are whine like a little bitch on a message board (which you did) and don’t watch their movies if you don’t want to.
Time you figured that out.

and failing.
It's because you know you backed the wrong person on the point about ANH being more feminist than TLJ. Now you feel you have to defend the point out of pride, instead of bowing out.
You know I'm right, and your inability to produce just confirms it.
It's ok, though. We all know now.

Nah. I didn't back anyone, but at least the other dude can be accurate with his points. You don't even know what movie you're in, or what happened in it. That's been my point all along, and you've done nothing but confirm it. More than once.
I get it. You made a big show about how you could recite these movies by heart, then you promptly fell on your face. The smart thing to do would be to admit you fricked it up and move on. I'm OK with the decision you made to continue, though. So, please, do continue.

because of the single scene where she takes a gun and shoots back? GTFO.
Someone needs to watch Star Wars again.
Come on, son
Your turn to admit you fricked up

Nope.

That was me...calling you out...like I said.
All you have to do is say that you don't know the movie as well as you implied and that you were wrong, and are still wrong. It shouldn't be that difficult.

Did you even read what you quoted and replied to?

Obviously you didn’t read or comprehend what the guy you quoted was saying because this is an awful apples to womprats comparison. Even in Star Wars Jedi and other humanoid characters are mortal. Even the Force doesn’t prevent them from being killed. If you are in outer space with no protective suit you’ll pass out in about 15 seconds and die from asphyxiation in about 90-120 seconds. That scene is just stupid, lazy screen writing on many level

I'm supposed to be upset that a force-sensitive character used the force?
No, but being passed out in space for anymore that 10-15 seconds = death. She's still a fricking human

Not reading the whole thread, but I agree with this point:
I don't agree with this one:
It was a bad movie on the whole. I wanted to like it. I wanted it to be better than what I read on this site. It just wasn't. It was a flat out bad movie.

Also didn't see the SJW shite everyone keeps bitching about. Maybe because I wasn't looking for it.

I thought it was pretty damn entertaining.

Same here.
It wasn't a particularly great movie, and there were definitely things I hated about it, but I was pretty entertained for a couple hours. Of course, with all the shite I had heard, I went into it expecting the worst movie ever made, so I guess I had the benefit of low expectations. But all in all, outside of a few spots, I enjoyed it.
