I was intending to watch the show this weekend, but all this shite is making me think it is a show for black people, like Empire or Power.
I mean, if you can't be critical of an apparently central character, how can a show be enjoyed?

Reva sucks. It’s not because of her race, it’s because of her inability to act or convey a sense of posing some kind of threat.

Man some people just can only see things in black and white.
He can defend his friend and coworker from getting targeted hate online (I'm pretty sure she's getting actual racist comments towards her in her dms which is not ok)
Also, people like myself can be enjoying the show, not think she is a great character, and think it's not ok to DM her racist and just unnecessarily mean comments.

I tend to believe that there are some major trolls who were full on racist to this actress, and I have zero problems with EMcG responding to that the way he did. He can and should defend his costar for that.
As far as her bad acting, what is he supposed to say there? The cast of Phantom Menace said the same things about Jake Whatisname that played little Anakin about what a great performance he gave and stellar addition to he Star Wars cast he was.

Hating a character or a portrayal of a character are fine opinions to have. Harassing a person because of that is not fine.
