Almost entirely being watched by YouTubers who turn around and complain about it online.
Seriously - the only people I know who have watched more than 5 minutes of this show are the people complaining about it. Most of us don't stare at piles of shite long enough to find reasons to complain about it.
Honestly, I typed in "Velma" in YouTube and got this:

How VELMA Episode 5 & 6 Introduced 'Scooby Doo' And Made It WORSE - BrainPilot
Velma Being Cringe for 9 Minutes - Wired Anomaly
Velma is worse than you could possibly imagine... - Alex Myers
Hitler reacts to Velma - Hitler Rants Parodies
JINKIES! Velma Is OBNOXIOUSLY BAD... - SaberSpark
Velma funny moments that are hilarious, original and not at all cringe - The Joe Ligma
Velma is Worse Than I Expected - Penguinz0
I Watched “VELMA" - Shoe0nHead (Yes, it is a critique)
Things Get WORSE For Mindy Kaling After SHOCKING Video Leaks - MAJOR BACKLASH! - JosiahRises
Velma Is Complete And Utter Trash - The Critical Drinker
Velma Hates Everyone - RobotHead
Velma is the WORST Show I've Ever Seen - Supercuts Delight
What The Hell Is This?? - Kat Blaque
Velma - A Crime Against Comedy - The Little Platoon
Ok, Velma is worse than I thought - Steve Reviews
Velma is Everything Wrong with Modern Writing - Greg Owen
Drinker's Chasers - Velma Hates You - Critical Drinker After Hours
Velma Is So Horrible I Almost Can't Believe It - Thorias Unlimited
If you criticize Velma, you're racist - Hero Hei
Velma Is A Dumpster Fire - The Movie Cynic
Not to mention that a few of those channels have multiple videos about Velma, all complaining. Sometimes with almost the exact same titles.
Make no mistake, this show is AWFUL - but it has been a gold mine for these channels. They love it because they get to hate on it. The gift that keeps on giving.

YouTubers are going to make a fricking killing monetizing that shitty trainwreck of a show.
Absolutely
And why is that? Cause you have a cottage industry feeding off the Kaiju's in the world that spend their waking hours marinating in misery. An audience that seeks validation and a focused purpose about their emotional resentments. An audience that isn't looking for rationality, they just want people that channel their emotional wavelengths and YouTube and their algorithms are a great vessel for cocooning people in that.
...If America ever needed a stronger argument for improving mental health access and diminishing the stigmas around it, right-wing and left-wing culture warriors miserably marinating on Youtube and social media would be an ironclad case.

Hollywood makes trash shows / movies, and here the resident Stockholm syndrome sufferer is talking about mental health!
Crassic.
Seriously, ask yourself why you cling sooooo tightly to the garbage the ESTABLISHMENT puts out? What's in it for you?

Seems like you give a frick with your continuous posting about it dipwad.

I need to know the bounce rate on that first episode.
Because I couldn't make it through half of it.

Brought to You from the guy with thousands of posts whining about content he doesn't actually consume lol...

I thought this was clear already? These threads are great cope entertainment.
Now the real question is, what's all this coping and melting done for you?

Would bet ep 2 got extremely sparse views, at best.

I agree, thought about it myself but seen some of y'all post and did the research for me lol.

I should be flattered that you're so consumed by me and follow each and every of my posts with cultist like dedication.
And while I don't have HBO Max, didn't watch this show, I did, like most here, grow up having watched the original cartoon in my youth. Whether I like, love or am largely indifferent to the show is irrelevant. I hate seeing agenda driven garbage ruin established IPs. I reject adult pretenders who gleefully diminish established canon and take joy in subverting expectations.
"I'll Ruin Your Mythos in a Minute, Baby!" - Taika Waititi.
These people are saying the quiet parts out loud.
This isn't JUST about 'Velma'.
How is that hard for you to grasp?
Your obsession with me is hilarious, mental health boy. But I have to remind you that it's not just me who will voice an opinion about garbage shows.
I didn't start this thread. I didn't write a review for this show. I didn't do any vids dissecting why this show failed on every known metric.
After you're done fanboying on me, will you then turn your attention to the rest of the population who completely reject this sort of treatment of franchises?

here was zero chance they cancel it, because the woke mob would just screech that the network "bowed to the pressure of misogynist incels"!
The Woke Mob hates this show equally if not more than the Proud Boys. They literally made a show that unifies people of all backgrounds and beliefs in their hatred towards it.

Bet they will not be releasing continuing statistics. But, I am glad people are looking for themselves and not taking others word for it.

I do not think anyone was trying to "cancel" the show. I think people rightfully have critics. The is the idea behind free speech. Someone says they do not like it and here is why, others watch it to see if they agree. You do not need to try and cancel anything, if it sucks, nature will take its course.

The only bad press is no press.
This was an inside job.
If your show sucks and nobody is going to watch it...
Tell the world it sucks and is controversial and political, etc. Nothing people like more than being a voyeur of a trainwreck.

Agreed. There are lots of people who want to see train wrecks, there are also likely many podcasters who watched it just to have stills or snippets to use in their own content.

Imagine if Velma ends up being taught in schools as the unifying force in America.
"Now children, open the tab labeled 'The Great Velma Unification of 2023' and read the first passage."
"Ms. Barris, I'm confused. How did a cartoon unify the country?"
"John, this show was so reviled and insulted so many people that the hatred was so great it literally caused groups that despised each other to find a common thing to talk about at bars, at work, and other venues. Soon they realized they had other things in common, but this was the first. This terrible, terrible show."

Someone’s been perusing out.com I see

What the frick is out.com?
I typed it into my browser and got some lesbian/gay magazine.
This seriously can't be mainstream because I've never heard of the magazine before so why on earth do you know this magazine exists?
