I feel like the outrage over dialogue talking about two moms is taking away from the actual travesty here. The fact that America Chavez is in the movie to begin with. She's a terrible character who has some of the worst comic book writing I've ever seen.

This, all of this. So so so much this. She is the worst new character in 30+ years. I am willing to die on that hill. Even worst than Dr Light, Moon Girl, Riri Williams, Jack of Hearts, Superboy Prime, any of them.

In the comics, they're dead. Unless she gets her own movie, I doubt we'll see them. Hopefully they don't spend a lot of time flashing back to America Chavez's backstory in this film. Would be a total waste of Dr Strange, Wanda, What If?, and the rest of the buildup they've put in for this movie.
