Ah yes the ole you can’t criticize one thing unless you criticize everything manure. I also love how people say “you complain about wokeness” then when someone gives a concrete example you say they are just hung in on a “throw away line”. Always moving the goal posts.
I don’t recall anyone saying the “white privilege” line complete ruins the Batman, just that it’s a example of gratuitous woke pandering, that makes no sense for that character to say or be concerned about it. It’s a buzz phrase stuck in there just to show the white guys making the movie are “down with the struggle”. Frankly it’s just lazy to use a throw away line like that. People won’t care about “messages” if the movie is good. Talented writers could make the point without having a character say the phrase.

The only people who live in Reedy Creek are allowed to live there by Disney, live on Disney property, are Disney employees, and serve as the town council. Effectively, Reedy Creek's only real "citizen" is Disney.
