well, since we all know how "The Batman" reviews here went over the "white privilege" line, i guess that means about 98% of this board is gonna miss out on Doctor Strange 2...
i don't want to hear a GOD-DANG word from any of you because you've been forewarned. if you're gonna shite on the movie over this, don't fricking watch it.

There are no parallels between white privilege and a lesbian couple. It's a reach to try and connect these things.

Good.
I don’t necessarily see the need to reference two moms in the first place, but I sure as shite don’t want the Saudis or the Chinese or Europeans dictating what can and can’t go in our movies.
I just hope Disney takes the same principled stand next time China tells them to remove a reference to Tibet… but something tells me that won’t be the case

It could be just a throwaway line with no ulterior motives.
“I have to get my mom or dad to bring me.”
“I have to get one of my moms to bring me.”
Sure, each of those examples could use “my parents” but there are situations where it’s not crazy for someone to mention two moms.
