If they were speculating that Cap and Bucky were anymore than a bromance to begin with, they were trying too damn hard.
I don't have a problem with the emergence of a gay/lesbian superhero at some point but it needs to be organic and not force fed. This shite is stupid and sadly Vanity Fair isn't the only place I've seen in.

An openly gay superhero hasn't worked in comics and I doubt it would work in a movie or tv show.

I think there are more pressing issues causing this 'country to go to shite' than some dumb think piece article on a superhero movie.
