I had no idea he was such a famous player, and that he had played for so long. He's one of those actors I've always enjoyed watching, and this show is a fun watch for anyone who is a fan and would like to know a bit more about one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood.

His Eurotrip role might be the closest to who the man was in real life

Just give me Season 2 of The Gentlemen.

I agree. I had no clue he was a famous footballer. It was a good watch.

I’ve been a fan for a long time. Lock stock is one of my favorite movies.

If anyone got the eurosport or TSC catalogs back in the early 90's, there was a section in the back that had soccer videos. Me and my buddies convinced one of the dads to order: Soccer's Hardmen. Vinnie was featured VERY prominently in that video. it was all about the guys in the prem who were just filthy animals that went around head hunting other players on the pitch. pretty sure you can watch it on youtube now. they actually had to outlaw the video on Eurosport and such because of how much it glorified hurting players on the other team.
Next thing i know the guy is Bullet Tooth Tony and such. wild to see that progression as a young soccer and movie fan.

I got eurosport. Always checked if the Copas went on sale but never did.
They mention the video in the doc.
Remember watching Lock Stock just before college and being blown away by the film style of Ritchie. Sort of kicked off a new British Invasion across mediums entering the new millennium

Haven't watched this, but I'm guessing they covered his nut-crunch of Gascoigne.
There are tons of hilarious stories about Wimbledon's Crazy Gang out there. Vinnie once showed up to a match with a boombox blasting over his shoulder. Legendary Nottingham Forest manager Brian Clough ended up walking into the Wimbledon dressing room and smashed it on the ground because Vinnie refused to turn the music down. "Now play your fricking music, Wimbledon."

Crunching fricking tackles.

He was on Extras, playing his real life hard-man persona. Gervais’ character’s nemesis mouths off about being a bigger hard-man than Jones, and Gervais rats him out to Vinnie.
