That's becasue it does. Usually with the same thread title.

Why don't we start a thread about Oscar snubs, or the Wire?

the OP looks new though, so he can get a mulligan.

HEROES?!?!?1

They had more bad seasons than good seasons.

I will add Kings to this list. A really good show with decent acting that got the axe waay to early.

Kings.

NBC had a great show but just didn't know how to market it. It was a modern-day retelling of the biblical story of King David. Only made it through one season due to poor ratings.

24 and prison break are two of my favorite shows and I even think they lasted long enough. Grant it, I would watch both if they started airing again in a second.

I second human target. I was also pretty disappointed when the practice went off but that one lasted long enough too I guess. I could have watched more of The Unit.

The Wire wasn't cancelled was it? I thought the producers just decided to end it.

Airing it on Saturday nights is not a good start.

I use to think Deadwood ended too soon, but I watched it a couple more times, there wasn't a whole lot to go for. I miss Al.

I can put the event into the list though. The end was good. There was alot they could do from there.

Firefly

Human Target

I strongly disagree with these:

Flash Forward

Sliders

Sliders seems like it was on for 10 years. . .and FlashForward had nowhere to go. . .unless you keep having "events" every season.

"The Wire" was not cancelled. They decided to end it after Season 5. Season 5 was pretty weak compared to the other seasons. The newspaper angle got a little too preachy. It was still a great season, but it was not as good as previous seasons. That being said, the series ended up nicely with a glimpse into the future. Which ended up being that the cycle continues.

My additions

Deadwood
Rome
American Dreams

Top of my list for certain.

I think I remember that the show was just too expensive to produce. I wonder how the ratings were?
