Firefly is the number one option.

Journeyman would be one to add - really into that one.

Reunion - someone else mentioned it and I think it was on fox and I liked it too.

I must be in the minority about flash forward - I liked it but then again I had read the book so maybe that's why - some differences but the overall theme I was inboard with.

There was also one by the Buffy show-runners not named joss about a girl found on the beach in some new England rich town that was the spawn of Satan or something - thought it was getting ready to get good when it was canceled.

Don't know how they could have done a second season though.

They left the ending completely wideopen.

i don't understand this either. Playmakers could have lasted for 3 or 4 good seasons imho.

1. Firefly
2. Jericho
3. Terriers

I was butt hurt about all three. I would put Heroes on their but really after the first season and impending writers guild strike it went to shite.

I didn't see the American version, but I loved the British version.
John Simm also played The Master in Doctor Who in the David Tennant years.

Did you see Ashes to Ashes? it was a female version of Life on Mars and starred Keely Hawes (Zoe from MI5)
It was really good but I never got to see the last season (PBS didn't air it)

Aww... can't believe I forgot about The Unit. I even got my wife hooked on that show and she hates watching anything besides Lifetime and VH1 reality stuff.

I feel sorry for you--I HATE that kind of stuff! I'm not the average chick tv watcher--I like mostly scifi, suspense and action shows/movies
