Did he really forget or did he choose not to upset Julie and her family’s life?

As soon as he wrote that address down and didn’t write a name or call his partner with the information, I knew they were going to pull that bullshite.

I think he knew he was there. He got his peace of mind seeing Julie , and gave the address to his son. He was finally ready to move on.

Disappointed Roland wasn’t with him.

So, did they just skip over what happened to Amelia?

He legit forgot. Then, at the end, he remembers again. Then he decides not to upset their life.

Once again, Pizzolato can’t finish

Still enjoyed this season like season 1 but he can’t seem to write a good Ending

We never found out how she died. We know she was teaching literature or poetry or some shite at the University of Arkansas in 2010 or something... Kinda disjointed how they left her story.

Not a great finale, IMO.

Disappointment finale aside, Ali and Dorff performances are up there near Harrelson and Mc (not gonna try to spell it). Ali especially.

The scene with roland in the bar this episode was classic. “She look like that before you rode her across the country?”

Worst episode of the season imo. Even though I got all of the answers, felt like the episode was all over the place.

I think he was kind of trying to create a symmetry to Julie and Wayne, both not knowing who they are at certain times in their lives.... IDK, it was weird.

Only shows this decade I've watched that have stuck the landing. It ain't easy.

That's what I took from it. That, and what amelia said to him about it keeps on going and just gets passed down, like him passing down the note with the address on it.

Honestly the biggest slap in the face was naming her little girl Lucy

Why the frick would they name the little girl after the whore of a mom that sold her off? Tom Purcell got murdered trying to save her and then his corps arse raped as they completely forget about him . I think I am done buying in to any Pizzolato show

So why did Roland go to that bar to pick the fight?

The entire season was wrapped up by having two people lay out exactly what happened, point by point...

I get Hayes having visions of Amelia, but how is she actually giving him real, tangible information?

They definitely went for “high brow” with the ending. It’s like a piece of literature. I’m sure I will appreciate it upon reflection and analysis, but it was really slow.

Man was that a massive letdown. The season was a hell of a ride, but that was easily the worst episode of the season.
