how did he know which biker gang rust had a connection with in order for it to lead back to an avenue for rust to get close to ledoux
but he used his hands to imitate moose horns on his head man!!!!!!!

How could Marty have the time to have a job, a family, a mistress, and be a cult-leading serial killer?
If I had his mistress, I'd find little time for anything else

Then he blasted ledoux in the face so no one can ask questions.
if the plan all along was to eliminate Ledoux he would have done it when he first came on him and Rust was outside then claim he had a weapon on him. Not after arresting him, investigating the site and finding the kids.

I found this article to present an interesting concept: The Yellow King was in Ledoux and entered Rust when Marty shot him.
Interesting Take on the Yellow King
quote:
It’s a spiritual act of transference; when Ledoux dies, the Yellow King leaves his body and enters Cohle. The actions of the world cycle back upon themselves, and self-determination is an illusion for those who can’t recognize that fate has made them a prisoner.

Mart had a baseball scholarship to USL as pitcher. The pitcher is in the middle of a circle of 5 men.

Will this all result in a showdown with Denzel Washington?

If this series was released all at once, I don't think i'd leave my couch for 8 hours straight.
It really speaks to how well it's written and filmed when after a week off, you are right back into the suspense.

I'm pretty much a "the journey is more important than the destination" type of guy but I would be heartbroken if this is how it goes down.

Hardly ever go home at night...which is what he does
Not sure that Marty leads a cult, but I guess it is possible. Is Marty the Yellow King? He does have that purty yellow hair.

Now that the interview with Cohle is finished, has anyone attempted to piece it together in chronological order? Probably wouldn't be too difficult as I believe there is a clock in the background as well as the beer cans.

I don't think either of the detectives are in on it.
Now, Marty's father-in-law, on the other hand, is a different story.

This all could have been avoided if Marty's little league coach stuck him at third.
