Just when viewers thought "True Detective" was all about cults and government cover-ups, it shifted back to there being one main antagonist.

I disagree, but I know it doesn't matter to you and the point you've been trying to prove.

Because proclaiming the show the goat after 2 episodes was extremely premature and just hyperbole influenced by the excitement of the settings.

I thought the first 2 episode were fantastic and it had absolutely nothing to do with it being set in south LA

as did millions of other people

You thought they had multiple pictures of some random house in Louisiana?

No wonder you didn't like the show.

i think you are simply ignoring the blatantly obvious hometown bias that this show drew on here because of its filming location. This happened VERY early on.

There were tons of people outside of Louisiana that were praising this show from the beginning.

and I guess you are ignoring all the national praise the show garnered since it's beginning that had nothing to do with it being set in south LA?

So the clue that was under Marty's nose the whole time was a old picture of a random house that had been painted green and the audience isn't even given this until halfway through the last episode? Ugh.

Since the interview he said that in happened well before the house clue, why do you even put the two together?

So this show garnered so much attention nationally because of its location?
