I just don't buy that the governor and the like would associate at all with a dirt farmer like Errol

did you even watch the show?

The show where there was: (1) a coordinated group of elite, powerful wealthy people perpetrating a multi-decade child molestation ring and complex cover-up and (2) Errol, who fricked his sister, lived in shambles, kept his alive (or maybe dead) father in a barn, and had the assistance of his trusty cohorts, the meth-cookers Reggie and Dewall; and where the only known association between teh rich folks and Errol were that they raped him and daddy burned the shite out of his face.

Yeah, it seems they were buddies.

Since the interview he said that in happened well before the house clue, why do you even put the two together?

It was a theme.

Rust also talked of a detail that comes later on down the line that "breaks the case".

So this show garnered so much attention nationally because of its location?

there is "good show put on by a channel with a good track record, give it a watch" - national reception

and then there is

"best tv show ever. best show HBO has ever put on." after 4-5 episodes... - TD.com

He was shackled. I would think he was alive for sometime on that bed.

You thought they had multiple pictures of some random house in Louisiana?

No wonder you didn't like the show.

HBOGo crashed last night due to the high demand of people wanting to watch this show. I don't think it was because of the setting.

Yes the were, they all came from the same grandfather. Sam Tuttle, I believe. Remember the old black lady talking about him and Carcosa.

I think it's reasonable to assume that the Ledoux's are related too. The old black woman mentioned a "LeBeau" but that just may have been a faulty memory on her part. Both Reggie Ledoux and Errol had the mark.

If it was filmed in Iowa I would have still adored it. It was a refreshing show in my mind.
