Brother Mouzone, Eli Thompson, George Remus, and Albert "Big Chief" Lambreaux were all used up in the first series.
Series 2 Prediction: Bunk Batiste, Van Alden, Swearengen, and AJ from the Sopranos (just to piss everyone off).

Next season will be about the hunt for Newman the scofflaw. Time to see that Seinfeld story fleshed out over 8 eps.

What I liked about the finale was that they repeated the same mistake they made with Ledoux.
When Marty shot Ledoux in episode 5, everyone acted like the case was closed and they got their man. Same thing happened with Childress, they shot him in the head and it was case closed, we got our man.
The Tuttles denied any connection to Childress so the cult lives on.

or just pointing out the specific points in the show that display the evolution he alluded to

this is a guess at best
Yea, billy lee Tuttle just had video and pics of a group of men raping a little girl for no reason at all...
Why are people questioning how this one "regard" could hide everything by himself. It's very obvious that other higher ups where involved.

I refuse to sign any waivers.

Both adults in my household, both between the ages of 18-35, thoroughly enjoyed the show.

great. too bad we have no clue b/c the plot apparently was not an important aspect of the show and the show didn't suffer at all for failing to explain much of anything about the cult itself. irrelevant, tertiary information really
and EVERYONE was fully aware that the plot would be swiss cheese early on and the plot had nothing to do with their interest in the show

The amount of bitching you are doing is breathtaking. You didnt like the show, cool. It was the most fun I've ever had watching a show. Let it be. You have also made your point. Everyone in this thread knows how you feel about this show. To continue to repeatedly challenge anyone else's opinion is annoying and obnoxious. But i guess you dont get the highest number of posts on TD ever without repeating yourself to the enth degree.
We get it....you didn't like the show. Why did you put yourself through 8 hours of hell if you already knew where the story was going? So you could come here and ask every person who liked the show to explain why they liked the show? Only to shut down/dispute their reasoning behind it.
People enjoyed the show and you didn't.....get over yourself

Slo wanted something different from the show, he didn't get it, didn't like it, and has decided he will ruin this thread for anyone that liked the show. The dedication is pretty impressive.

Again, it wasn't irrelevent at all. It provided the setting which contributed to the main theme of the entire series.
