Is "made flowers" a euphemism for orgasm?

Yes. I believe it is a euphemism for skeet skeet skeet.

Marty was just supposed to be the every man that most people will relate to. I think Woody Harrelson did a good job playing him.

The series was entertaining and had two solid performances throughout. Unfortunately, people wanted some complicated, perhaps mystical, plot to be revealed with all loose ends tied up . . . oh but with some cool surprises.

Anybody who's read or listened to Pizzolatto should have known that the series was not about that in the end. Most of that stuff was what Hitchcock called the MacGuffin. It was a plot device, and not a bad one at that.

i don't disagree. that's not very interesting, deep, or worth acting like his character made this amazing

or, you know, don't throw out 500 fricking red herrings and leave the most interesting part of the show out of the resolution

sure. i'm using red herrings. same concept, broadly (different uses, though)

that was the BACKBONE of the interest in this show. if you remove all of that, all you're left with is an archetypal everyman (who doesn't really change) and a person who couldn't exist in the framework presented (who doesn't change at all, except maybe at the VERY end, and that had to do with him almost dying and nothing to do with the show/journey)

While I haven't agreed with all of what you are saying, I do agree that I was expecting a 10 after the 1st couple of episodes. I think a 12 episode season would have been better to flesh things out and give it a bigger scope....it was a great 1st season, but it wasn't the 10/10 I thought it would be.

Yeah, I don't think he was a groundbreaking character or anything like that.

And didn't the '12 detectives say that Rust had been seen at several murder scenes?

i think they could have trimmed some of the edges

like the complicated beaumont plot that took up almost an entire episode. that was worthless

You really do bore me, but I'll respond now and then just to kill time.

As I keep telling you, you're a bright guy . . . but not that bright or, frankly, that interesting.

They said he was seen multiple times in the area of the one LC scene, not in the area of multiple murders.

Marty came out and shot a dude in the head with no hesitation, that was pretty awesome for me at least
